Lash Care FAQ

A little care goes a long way. These tips are for removable false lashes, not professionally applied lash extensions. Always follow the instructions for your specific lashes, adhesive, and remover.

How do I apply my lashes?

Wash your hands and start with clean, dry eyelids. Check the fit before applying adhesive; trim only if your lash instructions allow it. Use adhesive intended for false lashes, follow its directions for the amount and setting time, and position the band just above your natural lash line, not on the waterline. Keep adhesive out of your eyes.

How do I remove lashes gently?

Never pull or tug. Follow your adhesive's removal instructions and use a compatible remover labeled for the eye area. Allow the bond to loosen before gently lifting the band away. If it resists, stop and give the remover more time as directed. Do not scrape dried glue from your eyelids or use household solvents.

How do I clean leftover glue from my lashes?

After removal, follow the lash maker's cleaning directions. Support the band and gently lift away loosened adhesive without pulling the fibers. Do not soak lashes or use oils, alcohol, or other cleaners unless the product instructions allow them. Let reusable lashes dry fully before storing. Discard lashes that are damaged or cannot be cleaned.

How should I store my lashes?

Store clean, completely dry lashes in their protective tray or case, away from moisture, heat, and dust. Do not share lashes or adhesive, and follow any reuse and replacement guidance on the packaging.

What if I have sensitive eyes?

Check the full ingredient list for your adhesive and remover, especially if you have reacted to similar products before. A “sensitive” or “hypoallergenic” label does not guarantee that a product will suit you. Follow any patch-test instructions on the packaging; a patch test does not rule out a reaction near the eyes. If you have a history of eye-area reactions, ask a qualified healthcare professional before use.

What should I do if adhesive causes irritation?

Stop using the product if you notice burning, itching, redness, or swelling. Remove lashes gently only if you can do so without pulling, and follow the product's exposure and removal directions. Do not reapply while the area is irritated. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for advice; seek prompt medical attention for eye pain, vision changes, significant swelling, or symptoms that persist or worsen. If adhesive or remover gets in your eye, follow the label's first-aid instructions and seek professional advice.
